Welcome to Casa Graciela. We’re Gary and Leslie, and we’re so glad you’re here.

Thank you for taking a few moments to learn a little about us and the story behind Casa Graciela.

More than five years ago, we visited Cozumel for the first time and immediately fell in love with the island. It wasn’t just the crystal-clear Caribbean waters or the world-class diving—it was the slower pace of life, the warmth of the people, and the feeling that this was a place where memories are made.

That first trip changed everything.

What began as a favorite vacation destination soon became a second home, and eventually, the inspiration for creating Casa Graciela.

More Than a Place to Stay

From the beginning, our vision was simple. We didn’t want to create just another vacation rental.

We wanted to create peaceful, beautifully designed spaces that reflect everything we love about Cozumel.

Each Casa Graciela residence has been thoughtfully designed with locally commissioned artwork, handcrafted details, natural materials, and calming spaces inspired by the island itself.

We believe luxury isn’t about excess—it’s about thoughtful details, genuine hospitality, and creating a place where every guest feels completely at home.

The Casa Graciela Collection

Today, Casa Graciela includes three unique residences within the beautiful El Cantil oceanfront community.

Casa Graciela Penthouse offers an expansive three-bedroom oceanfront retreat with panoramic Caribbean views, while Casa Graciela Pequeña provides two thoughtfully designed options—a spacious two-bedroom residence or a private one-bedroom suite—perfect for couples, friends, or smaller families.

Although each residence offers its own unique experience, they all share the same philosophy: exceptional comfort, thoughtful design, and genuine hospitality.

Whether you choose our spacious Penthouse or the intimate comfort of Casa Graciela Pequeña, our hope is that every stay feels personal, relaxing, and unmistakably Cozumel.

Why “Casa Graciela”?

One question we’re often asked is, “Who is Graciela?”

Casa Graciela is named after our daughter, Graciela, who has always inspired us with her warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit. We wanted the name to reflect something deeply personal—a home created with family, love, and meaningful experiences at its heart.

That same spirit guides everything we do, and it’s what we hope every guest feels during their stay.
